This is the only MMO I could just sit and gaze at my surroundings for hours. I could even sit in the station admiring my ship like I was actually there. A feeling like I owned something that I felt close to. On other MMOs they may have all these detailed environments but it feels like they are just there. You don't pay any attention to them. I could enjoy the thrill of being chased down by pirates and even when I lost my ship I felt sad but at the same time i felt it was right, it was more real.

Probably my favorite track from the EVE OST. Makes me imagine some regal flagship carrying royalty through deep space at the head of a massive fleet, with the royal family decked out in finery within the main hall of the ships massive interior and thousands of onlookers watching them descend the steps to the main floor. A bit like the picture shown.

I started Eve Online in the Autumn of 2005, I chose Gallente and just went from there. This song is the most memorable piece of the OST that I can think of. This game's music is truly a masterpiece in the video game OST world.

I love this song. It really gives me that whole space adventurer feel. It's a good track to play when your traveling. It fits nicely with the warp tunnels. EVE is really immersive. The scenery, soundtrack, and gameplay really drag you in. It doesn't feel like a game anymore.

Let me present to you a moment; Fresh off the skill, I hopped into my new Scythe, intending to get it set up as a mining ship; I sat there for a moment from the sudden awe that came with size increase from a Rifter to the Scythe, surprised. After a few moments, I got to work. searching the markets and tracking down my gear while getting my skills in order; after a few moments, I undocked in a shuttle. As soon as I came out of station, this song started playing. This is the best MMO ever made.

well said, respect. in other MMO when my character KO i did not even felt sad or sorry but in Eve sometime i went in rage, mad, sad in same time. maybe because in Eve when you lost your ship, you actually lost it, it gone, while other MMO you just respawn.

This version of the song I got from a torrent that had all of the in-game music, I guess ripped from the game files somewhere. If I recall, awhile back they had the music on a section of the EVE site for download. Not sure if it is still there.

Who was that man, and what did he done? I always imagined that he was gallente citizen, that gave his life to save as many as possible people from Nouvelle Rouvenor. This gallente city was constructed under water, and when Tovil-Toba suicide crashed his capital ship to underwater glass dome, an unknown citizen made an heroic act. No one knows his name, but everyone saw what he did to save the city.

Agreed Maphysto. I left the game after buying and doing some quests with my battleship. Then I realized that I was going in a non-ending grinding cycle. And I didn't have time to grind and keep up with a huge corp. BTW It is one of the best MMORPG's I've ever played. Someone should combine this space, economy, job, combat and a third-person system in a revolutionary game nothing less than SWG.

@killallianceftw You're sort of losing out in-game then. I understand why some people would choose to do this, for instance when I'm not so heavy into the game anymore, I just do a few level 4 missions, buy a plex card and keep the account active to train while I pay for a membership to another game. Then I can come back to EvE later and I have a far improved account. I love that you can do this.
