It was mainly because of hoarders with over 10 Mijus, overpricing it in Discord. It was worth around 7k-9k, but they were offering it for all 20k+. Eventually the price stuck.

"Low" (bottlenecked supply because it takes 300 hours for one) quantity, high demand because of remodel. Perfect recipe for high price. It wouldn't have even needed to be too good (though I personally like it), just anything to generate hype around a creature that already has a very slow supply. I see the price getting even higher for the next couple weeks because of that, tbh.
