Nov. 22, 1963, CBS interrupts programming

At 10:48am Pacific time, just as we on the west coast were getting into "Pete & Gladys" that CBS News Bulletin interrupted the show just as it was nearing its climax, annoying us "Pete & Gladys" fans who expected CBS to rejoin P&G in progress. Despite initial reports of "serious injury", we little kids didn't think it was necessary to interrupt P&G. I found the Pete&Gladys episode and remember the exact moment the proceedings were stopped.
