This is a main reason why I like Huawei. Though with the accusations, you can't deny their software is refined and their phones is pretty fast. UPDATE: Emui 11 looks nice. The subtle animations are nice from unlocking and the keyboard going down smoothly.

@@ultimategamingexperience2734 If you don't have a SIM card in your phone, insert one inside and patiently wait for the phone to get the update. However, if you have a SIM card already installed, the best thing you can do is just wait. Not every Nova users get the update at the same time.

Hey Guys! I have updated to EMUI 11 few days ago and here's the changes I have noticed so far. Animation - Dynamic animation when unlocking the phone ( apps and widgets float in with a little wiggle effect) - Updated and improved animations when opening and closing an app. (Animation now doesn't morph the icon itself when closing an app only the frame) - New animation when opening and closing an app that runs on landscape mode. - Animations when pressing the toggles ( little nice touch that adds flavor to the phone) - Wallpaper pinch in and out when opening and closing an app - Updated virual volume slider Note: I am using the phone GESTURE base. Animation is a little different in 3 BUTTONS base. Updated UI - Gallery now supports pinch in and out ( pinch in = days pinch out = months) - Settings ( some of it) - Notepad (Scan and extract text) New and improved features - Floating window ( change size and minimize into bubble) - AOD (OLED screens only) So far animations look far better than EMUI 10.1 mainly because of the pinch in and out of the background (wallpaper) and landscape animations. 🙃🙃🙃🙃 Disclaimer: It's still a beta software, so expect some bugs... 😊😊😊😊

I just received the update. One thing I am going to talk about is animations. Before, animations looked stiff and dull. Now it has more life into it. When unlocking the phone, the screen slowly opens up, unlike before it just opens instantly. And when you swipe up or unlock your phone, it has a nice elegant little animation of the apps going into place. Another thing is that the keyboard no longer disappears, it slides down. Also, the volume rocker is thinner now when going up or down in volume. Notifications slides down elegantly like if it let go off a ledge. When you have multiple apps, they can bump into each other. (trust me, it's very easy to fidget).

Can you confirm whether when using Gesture system navigation and Screen Auto-rotate is off, if you open up an app and rotate the screen to landscape mode, does the Rotate icon shows up in the bottom corner to allow us to switch the phone to landscape? Because currently, this doesn't work in EMUI 10.1 (only works when using Three-key navigation), thanks in advance.

The Beta version of HarmonyOS is currently intended for developers who will use Huawei's APIs to make applications that will only work on HarmonyOS and will be optimized for it. In addition, HarmonyOS is much more fluid than Android, because the design with a multiple core makes it much more versatile. It's no wonder that HarmonyOS looks a bit like EMUI 11, it's normal the two have merged.

We in Europe didnt got that update yet, i get every month update 1 month later, but yeah for 300euros i love my phone, even with 10.1 updates they improved battery that was amaizing before also, i can hit like 9 to 10 hours on mobile data. My samsung s9 can max 3.5h.
