Mate 40 pro is batter of course, but Nova 9 can handle with him, and even can be better in some photos. May is month when Nova 9 comes in pocket 🤗

Great effort but no matter if both devices share same lenses you'll see the quality and processing difference. The real game changer is processor and as we know Mate 40 Pro has much better and powerful processor. I hope you got my point, no need to explain it more.

The sensor is not the same but yeah the CPU is very important. The Kirin has a better ISP for sure.

@@lltechview Kirin and Huawei's processing engine that they have built in years with R and D. And Kirin 9000 has different capabilities than other lineups. So, in the end image quality depends on Computational Photography.

Sadly not. Though also keep in mind this is an older video. The Nova 9 got several updates that fixed a lot.

Thanks for the comparison! Mate 40 pro is still a beast of a camera (one of the best in 2022)! Just purchased it and I am so happy about the camera and overall smartphone - it is amazing!

From my experience, nova 9 is far than mate 40 pro ini quality image. I dont know why in this video Nova 9 can balance to Mate 40 Pro. Moreover the ultrawide camera, Nova 9 is garage to compare to mate 40 pro or even mate 30 pro (device from 3 years ago). For the reviewer, you need to take the best shot for every section, not the first shot. Try to take the best shot from each phone to show in the video.
