I think one of the pet peeves of mine that Pally triggers SO often is regen globes. Low on mana, bribes a camp, leaves the globe behind. They're such an important part of the game for any hero, especially ones that physically can go oom. He does this SO often.

Seriously, like playing league has you worrying about mana so much and then going to HotS is just infinite mana.

And when he has globe quests, he does a good job of focusing on them...but if not, they may as well not exist.

@@monsternside1509 Oh even with globe quests he does miss them, even when they're super easy like the ones after an objective or camp. Not as much, but I imagine its the streamer mentality of trying to be entertaining, focused on the game and other things coming together all at once.

Pretty sure pally has said in the past that he's a bit color blind so he can't really see the green of the globes, which makes them much easier to miss

This is an example of where I might want Apollo Suit at 20: they have a bunch of auto attackers that can't do much if you're cloaked. It would give you more of a chance to avoid the varian and the nova, though maybe not the tracer.

In this game I would have possibly preferred the decoy talent. He did take a lot more mercenary camps this time than the previous game but having the holo decoy for bush vision is so nice.

I like to play a fun variant of this build: Decoys also benefit from the extra auto damage after ability cast and will mimic your casts, so if you get the lowered decoy CD + Increased decoy damage + rewind, you can pump out a whole bunch of decoys that actually add damage to fights

Longshot and especially Rapid Projection and Rewind are the correct choices for OitC. Stop sleeping on Rapid Projection! You should NEVER have to face check an area with Rapid Projection, and you’ll get more kills on runners by denying cover that way as well.

That build is one of my favorites, with the exception of taking triple tap over precision strike. It is always satisfying to get a kill after they have disengaged on low health.

This is one of those kind of exhausting games where the entire enemy team went out of their way to counter you, specifically you, and only you. Every rotation to converge on you, their entire build to counter precision strike and snipe, every character meant to mitigate and nullify Nova's entire kit and secure kills on specifically her. Ultimately you won because of that, but still, it was just frustrating to watch.

Considering how much Mana you burn through using all those abilities in a fight more so with none of the mana recovery stuff like how snipe build does. Yeah Rewind would just be hard to use cause you'd be nearly or completely out of Mana by the time you get to using it.

I love how Pally doesn't sidestep to avoid a single enemy ability. Even though he plays every character and knows all ability areas and combos, like Varian's charge, taunt, and then Q to uncloak.

So.. what medication was Pali on, what other stress is going on in his life, or was he just tilted over that other clearly kill-the-streamer nova that's screwing up even his normal game play? He's 1v4ing on a squishy, he's ignoring mana globes, standing on the exposed side of a wave trying to clear it on a Nova, only occasionally pestering vikings.? Was this secretly a dis on this build trying throw the game and seem to be the worst nova build possible? Pali-on-Nova does have the same handicap as any other Pali-on-assassin character. He tries to lead from the front far too often. Great on the right characters, but on Cleanup-Crew characters, ones who should be entering the fight at 100% after your team has worn the others down to 20-50%; not so much.
