I got a cnc plasma table last year 35 x 33 , all I need and loving it, maybe look into it, it will save a lot of time

Thanks for the advice. I have been considering something like that. I used to want a plasma table, and have more recently considered finding a place that can laser cut my designs. My brother was actually pointing out to me how a CNC mill would make a lot of sense and leave a really nice finish. The big thing for me is going to be setting up a computer and getting/learning CAD software. I have worked with Creo Parametric a bit, so I do have a little CAD experience. I want to get something like that together soon, though, for sure. Thanks for watching!

I am really enjoying watching the progress on this build. I like your attention to detail. Is the plan to remove the body to fully weld the chassis when it is complete?

Thank you! Yes, Once all of the roll cage tubing is in (funny car hoop and all), I will lift the body off and weld the chassis all together. Being able to roll it on it's side and flip it over will be extremely helpful, as well as not having the roof in the way of welding the tops of the roof area tubing.
