I learned recently that Nova's decoys can pick up exp globes and will run to them to pick them up if there's nothing to shoot at

Ive been doing this for years in silver and ive gotten flamed so hard in every match, but when the winions knock on their core and that victory screen comes up i always feel vindicated bec of my high soak numbers even if my hero dmg is abyssmal. I know the real reason we won, why every lane was pushed out to its max, and why every camp is painted blue.

Clones hold the line against minions as well. The minions will always attack the nova clones and ignore your minions. Saving their hp for towers. She’s is so much fun for macro.

yep as a nova who is often in qm, i find various combo to be against that is just impossible to kill, now that i know when i often spec full macro w precision strike and explosive shot and just soak , harass (but not engage) and push.

Generally means anything that has long term impact, like getting xp, getting camps to force the enemy to clear them, if possible during an obj, split pushing, rotations, all that kind of stuff, as opposed to micro, which is just being good at teamfights and playing your hero

Macro is contrasted against Micro. Micro is using your abilities, managing your resource (mana), side-stepping, timing your stuns/combo starters properly, saving your escape, proper initiation and overall team-fighting. Basically, boot up a replay and zoom in to your character as much as possible, then put a post-it note over the mini-map: everything you see is now Micro. Macro is watching the mini-map, being aware of talent tier offsets, knowing camp spawn and clear timing, objective timing,
