Thanks for shining a spotlight on Nova Rockafeller, she is multi talented. Tom and Nova met when they were 18, she was an aspiring Rapper putting on her first show, he asked if he could have a spot on it and she said yes as long as he handed out flyers, she didn't know he'd never Rapped in public before. After that they persued their careers separately, she handing out CDs to scouts and label execs and Tom continuing his pro wrestling career until injury and internal politics made him change career and want to become an independent Rapper/Artist. Nova's flare for creativity led her to designing her own merch/accessories Toys On Chains, and because the label wasn't giving her enough work, she followed around a commercial cameraman, picking up tips on photography and video work, after she got dropped from Def Jam and knowing Tom was at loose ends after dropping out of the Rap scene because he'd had a breakdown brought on by alcohol and party lifestyle, she said, come to California where we can do a joint project, this was GFBF, but Tom's solo career blew up before it could take off, Nova then focused all her energy on Tom's career working behind the camera to keep everything low budget, her camera skills improved real quick. My favourite music video of Tom's by Nova is Best Rapper Ever, done during lock down entirely in their own home. Nova is now free from any label ties and can make her music independently again, but she will always be ride or die for Tom. #NovaRockafeller #NovaWithAttitude #HOG

That have been friends for 17 years and a couple for 7 or 8 years. They have lived in the US for 8 years. They live in Southern California. Tom didn't have a label but Nova was signed with Def Jam.Thanks for giving Nova her flowers! Just subbed.

They are such amazing people that I seriously wish they were my kids! Whenever they do something amazing I always let them know I am so proud of them and to keep looking forward because they're going in the right direction in life!

Condensed version of Nova and Tom's relationship: Tom and Nova were 18 when they met in Canada where they are from. They went their separate ways, remaining friends for 10 years until they both ended up in LA, California. Nova had been dropped from her label and Tom had just come off of 9 months recovering from a mental breakdown. They formed a band, GFBF, deciding to make some music together, becoming a couple through that. One of Tom's solo releases went viral (Dear Rappers, 2017) that Nova filmed the video for and 7 years later here we are. Thank you for spotlighting Nova, she is wonderful! ❤ #NovaRockafeller #HOG
