It's an admission that everyone is exactly the same as everyone else and that we're sinners, one and all. Nobody, Christians least of all, should think they're better than anyone. The fact that so many believers do act "holier than thou" is heartbreaking as it has turned many away from Christ. 2: God watches over everyone at all times, not just Christians. He does this because He loves us. We're His children. As a responsible father watches his kids 24/7, so The Lord watches over and cares for us all the time as well. He loves us all. ALL. He loves you. More than you can imagine. He wants you to come to know him as well. I know this is pretty long winded but I really wanted to clear up a few points.
