Hey Y'all! Welcome back to VLOGMAS! I know I missed 2 days and behind but we are back and not stopping! I'm excited to finally share a memory I vlogged of Nova's 1st day of school and school shopping! I've been looking forward to this day since she was a little girl and I'm super grateful to been able to do this with her since work had me fly in later last year! Jacky and I talked about vlogging with her and the kids more before she passed so another reason this memory is so special since her passing. I 🥺 i tried my best to vlog like Jacky while also keeping some things private. I hope you guys enjoyed & hope to be able to share more memories like this soon. Stay tuned for the Next upload 😃

There is no doubt that losing Jacky was a major loss for those closest to her. She was such a light to everyone in her life. From what we saw while she was here and what we’ve heard since her passing, she cared deeply for her loved ones and helped to elevate and uplift them. Brit I hope you realize that even in death Jacky is helping to elevate you and helping you to live in your purpose through her children. You are the best Godmother and her babies are so blessed to have you.

I lost my mom when I was 7 years old. Every day that passed felt so empty and unreal. Then it settles that they are not coming back. I wish I had someone like Brittney to step in. What you are doing is so amazing and loving. God bless you through the journey.

The lipgloss part brung me to instant tears. I remember her putting on "novalicious" lipgloss when she was smaller. I'm happy yall are making the edible arrangements a tradition. That is so sweet! ❤

In certain instances in this video, I saw Jacky coming through you, I'm so glad that Nova, Nala, and Prince have a strong village around them. Nova is going to do great in first grade and Jacky will be with her every step of the way for sure.

The light missing from Nova’s eyes is, there. It’s just dim and dull. Her soul has experienced a wound, trauma so severe that it hasn’t fully recovered. Already she has experienced the greatest loss of her life, as a child. Her mother was her best friend. When you look back at old videos of Nova and her mom, you constantly catch Nova admiring her mother. She was in love with her mommy. Her mother was everything to her. Just the fact that she’s still able to smile is a blessing in itself. I thank God for keeping her. At 9yrs old I lost my mom to mental illness and how it affected me began to show up at 13yrs old. I was raised by my father and two terrible stepmother’s over the course of my life. I needed therapy, affection, attention, etc. For which I didn’t get. I did receive love from certain family members and friends but it wasn’t enough. My saving grace was that I was extremely close to my siblings and that my mother taught me about Jesus and when life became too much I sought Him out and He rescued me, literally. My suffering wasn’t in vain. God used it all for my good. I don’t want any child to have to unnecessarily suffer when it can be prevented. I’m praying that you guys convince her father to allow her to go to therapy, allow her to be present in everything involving her mom (because it’s going to be healing for her, she has Jacky’s spirit), allow her to participate in every Bible based function for children. I’m talking Sunday school, choir, vacation bible school, CAYA, acting, plays, etc. Baby girl will benefit being in a positive leadership role even if you guys have to create the role for her. She loved creating content with her mom. She was a natural too. Her expressing herself right now is so vital. The only thing greater than heartbreak and pain is LOVE. The more love she experiences constantly the faster her soul wound heals. The devil tries to gain access to us while we are wounded. The sooner she heals, the stronger she becomes, and then she can use her testimony to save someone else 🙏🏽💚

Loved this I mess seeing Ms Jacky O. May her soul live on. Those babies looked very happy and at ease. I’m still hurting 😢 I don’t know her from a can of paint but watching her made me feel like she was long lost cousin. Great video aunty you did great I was hoping you would’ve done that welcoming her from school like her mom did last year keeping that up is wonderful. I could see and feel the sadness in her just knowing mom wasn’t going to be there. I too lost my mom at an early age 11 and I’m currently32. That pain is real and the loss is real. Those babies will mourn the loss of their mom forever but with some therapy they will be ok. God is good. All the time. 😊
