Hi. I’m in Nova Scotia and travelled to all of these places. I also found dozens of curvy roads out of Halifax . I have close to.300’000 miles on BMW Bikes mostly in Nova Scotia. Keep the rubber side down. Also rode with John Herman in Europe on a Beach Tour. John Engweiler

Great video Dennis. It's a shame we missed you (BMW Owners of Nova Scotia - BMWONS). During the riding season we meet every Thursday evening at the Chicken Burger in Bedford. It is Canada's oldest running drive-in restaurant and right up your alley. Every year we also do our Annual Fall Colours Ride around the Cabot Trail. Last year we had a couple from Belgium cap off their 9-month circumnavigation of North America by joining us for the ride on their two BMW GS bikes. Over the winter they rebuilt two Airhead GS bikes, have just sold their house in Belgium, and are getting ready to start a 5-Year ride on the Airheads, starting with South America. Drop me a line if you're coming back, I guarantee you'll be truly amazed at the hidden gems we have here.

Welcome to my backyard. Great roads for bikers. You captured it marvellously. Nailed it on the wind. I have a light bike and I’ve been wishing that I had a bike like yours more than once. I got caught in a crosswind out of Truro to Halifax once that was so strong that I was leaning 10 degrees into for an hour. I always check the winds now before heading out

Wonderful video glad you all enjoyed Nova Scotia. we did the down east tour a few years ago, OK we took six weeks, needed six months. Glad you got to Meat Cove but come on lads three bikes, we got our twenty one foot Pleasure way RV up to the camp ground and parked on the cliff edge about 200 feet above the ocean. Alas we where there a week before the Crab Shack opened. So we have to go back. Hope you all got a sample of the fine product of Glenora Distillery, mine's all gone another reason to return. Come back any time.

There's an identical ferry crosses Lake Diefenbaker in Saskatchewan. That came as a big surprise.

Here are the words to check out the artists on you tube Farewell to Nova Scotia [chorus] Farewell to Nova Scotia, the sea-bound coast, Let your mountains dark and dreary be When I'm far away, on the briny ocean tossed, Will you ever heave a sigh or a wish for me? The sun was setting in the West The birds were singing on every tree All nature seemed to be at rest But, alas, there was no rest for me. I grieve to leave my native home I grieve to leave my comrades all And my parents whom I hold so dear And the bonny, bonny lass that I do adore. I grieve to leave my native home I grieve to leave my comrades all And my parents whom I hold so dear And the bonny, bonny lass that I do adore. The drums do beat and the horns do alarm My captain calls; I must obey Farewell, farewell, to Nova Scotia's…

2020 bike season completely cancelled due to the covid virus. Not a necessity. Can't even transport a weeks groceries. NO PLEASURE DRIVING. Sad but true. Hopefully next season 2021 will be on the road again.
