I always thought of this... What if the last episode of Supernatural we see baby Sammy like from episode one with the yellow-eyed demon standing at his bedside and next to them is Gabriel sitting in a chair. Gabriel says, "I know how this one ends," snaps his fingers and the yellow-eyed demon disappears. Mary comes in and picks up crying Sammy and they live a normal life.
