I'm a videographer, and my first work camera when I was in news 20 years ago was a $30,000 camera that sat on your shoulder, had a black and white only eyepiece, and shot SD video to DVCpro tape. Now my $3,000 4K video camera does everything better at 1/4 of the weight. I would love to see that kind of development into digital night vision.

Depends on the situation. Active shooter? Toss mags. Invasion and you're in the wilderness on a quickly shifting front, retain them.

@@fujimi715 you have so many mags / so few bullets. You have every round you posses loaded into mags? I would argue you either need more bullets or buying 150+ mags at $10+ each was likely not intelligent use of resources. Say you do a trade or a raid or find a long lost stash. Do most of the bullets on the shelf at gun stores, or in military stocks come loaded in a mag? No Mags are not disposable, mags are not nearly as plentiful as ammo. Think big big picture, there is more 5.56 in America than can be loaded into mags in America, so if everyone tossed all the mags we would have mounds of ammo and no usable mags. No warfighters in any conflict have historically discarded mags. Put mags in your pocket, in a dump pouch, even down your shirt ( assuming it’s tucked in ) obviously don’t die bc you where fucking around with a empty mag but 99% of the time you should be retaining your mag.

I actually figured I’d like to bring my B&T 45 APC Pro to a night vision course. I have a Steiner TOR mini and a surefire vampire scout with an RMR . I’m great out to 150 yards in the day time. 200 yards is no real problem for torso sized targets but that distance is hard with the light laser combo I have. Great review looks like a fun course.
