First half of the year was subpar compared to his usual high standards. He improved after the clay season, but after reaching the Wimbledon final and finally winning the Gold Medal, he just looked emotionally spent. His level was more capable of being higher, but the spirit was gone. But that's better compared ti earlier in the year when both were somewhat missing.
