I really hated tennis after retirement of sampras agassi rafter kafelnikov kuertin, because it was so boring watching federer beat up on his loser competition. However once nadal murray djokovic were in top ten, it's been amazing to have watched all these guys develop and become champions. FYI, it's only non-tennis fans who dismiss Murray as a great player, he was consistently a big factor at every major and was capable of beating anyone, which made for very interesting tournaments. 3 majors and two golds, and the first UK guy to win wimbledon in forever. In the age of fed nadal djokovic, that IS a good career. Wawrinka had a world beating game some days that could defeat just about anyone (except fed, probably for psychological reasons not a lack of game). Murray was a lot more consistent than Wawrinka and generally had a hand in determining quarter, semi and finals of tournaments. Yes, all 5 of these guys are legends. Djokovic would not be the player he turned out to be without all these guys pushing the envelope. I only hope the next gen players can be inspired by the legacy of these greats, and produce world class tennis like we've beern accustomed to for the last 10-15 years.

The GOAT of tennis is Novak Djokovic.. No doubt.. But with due respect Federer and Nadal.. Now the question would be - is he the greatest athlete of all time? I think probably yes.. With respect to everyone..

Also we can say that Novak Djokovic is greatest athlete of all times because his success on the court, his physical and mental endurance, his life style, his humanity is proof of that.
