Just read that Novak had a flu lingering in him. He was sick. But it was his over-confidence caused his downfall in what supposed to be his 25th Grand Slam. He engaged himself in too many activities, for example, running the Djolovic Charity Event. @@bubufubu actually you are correct, when healthy nadal is close to unplayable at RG in all conditions (2020,2022) and during the day. Djokovic is the opposite, he is unplayable in night matches but even then he has been beaten at night multiple times.

So tired of the Djoker and all of his antics, drama,fake illnesses, shady bathroom breaks and his mystery drinks. He loses and he doesn't give credit to the opponent he says he "didn't play well". He actually goes so far as to say it was his worst performance in a grand slam. I hope retirement is soon.

This moment felt alot like a young Federer beating Sampras at Wimbledon. Sinner pushed him with deep physical ground strokes and variety. Incredible performance. Not facing a single break point against the GOAT, is remarkable.

Folks dont understand what that Pace and Depth do to you early in a match. It PUTS YOU ON EDGE. Combined with your opponent being able to get to everything. Results: Unforced errors start piling up in a hurry. Not to mention it took Sinner 2 full sets to 'drop' his level even a little. Kind of reminds me of Prime Del Potro at the US open, how fluid he moved, defended, and the depth of his groundstrokes. The fact that he kept his cool and didn't mentally succumb makes Sinner a Truly Rare player in the last 20 years.
