keep looking for the ideal mini pc homelab formfactor with high efficiency. i'd be interested in what you find without draining the electric bill. a lot of the high performance ones you can't leave on 24/7. my benchmark consideration is how it compares to the hp elite desk mini pc lineup & dell's similar formfactor. and one that doesn't blind you at night.

Great channel 👍 However, your two videos on AceMagic devices were amiss. In neither video do you tell us about the brand, AceMagic. Who is behind AceMagic? Why should anyone consider the AceMagic brand? Where are they from? How long have they been around? What sort of warrantys and support are they offering? This information is important whenever discussing complete systems like a mini PC, smartphone, tablet or laptop from new brands trying to break into the market. Absent an explanation, it isn't worth paying attention to. (The above would be less applicable if a brand is offering a device that is innovative or groundbreaking, which merits attention.) What a dud.. Without the display it wouldn't be worth a second look, you can get the same or better specs for less.. The display being windows only is a fail.. The display software triggering a virus is an even bigger fail..

For me, it was the LED software that triggered a backdoor warning/removal by Defender, not the LCD display software. If the warning and removal is valid, I suspect the manufacturer didn't purposely install a backdoor. After all, with a pre-installed OS, they wouldn't need to wait for someone to run software. What is more likely is they built the program using an infected library file.

​@@izzieb That used to be true, but not with DDR5. The N97 out performance the N6005. (Kind of like the last gen equivalent). What is unfortunate is that this thing is cheaped out on the RAM. And use DDR4.

People ready to buy Overpriced Raspberry Pi , but excepting too much from this low budget mini pc, No doubt this device is not for regular use, only good for home lab setup ( Linux based ) or run pfsense for home network , host a vpn server, which doesn't require much CPU power.

Ace Magician has been known to have Malware built in down to the firmware level. The sus part is when it already has the Chrome Browser as standard. Care to comment on this?
