Its amazing how much the supernova was so much a part of the Ozric sound.

That was so nice! Hope you won't mind if I'm just a little jealous. Two of my all-time favorite synths at once! And I've never owned either one. Played both in a music store in 2000-2001 but didn't buy. Wish I had known the production would end in one year. I'd have grabbed them up!

just awesome! plasma you are a genius, i love ozrics so much, and your style is so awesome!! I have a supernova 2 keyboard coming soon which i ordered 2nd hand, but i am wondering what synthesis technique you use creates the trippy sound that comes in at 3:25 and stays most of the song? its a trade mark sound and i've heard it alot in ozrics and i love it, and would love some insight at to how to synthesize it :) it is do do with sync skew? formant width? cheers and any response is appreciated. cheers allan
@albywelch7 жыл бұрын
dude, thanks so much for the reply! fantastic to know...those dual filter combos seem amazing..so excited to play around with the sn2 when i get it. hey, you got any tips for composing similar melodies/sequences? i absolutely love these 3 vids of yours man, their so awesome and ozricky, and you seem to have a real ear for melody and chord progressions. i often sit down and try and learn ozric melodies/songs by ear but just find it so difficult (this is the stuff you do though when you are obsessed with a band haha :D). have you got any go to progressions/scales etc? sorry for the questions man, but absolutely love your work and want to learn more :) allan, an ozric tentacles fan
@PLASMA222807 жыл бұрын
hey sorry for the late reply.SCALES-try dorian scales for minor songs and lydian or mixolydian for magor songs if you want this kind of sound for your songs.hope this helps!!!
