What a great experience that must have been! Hey SBR! :) you should add links to the shops you help in your description for the videos. Having a pro team completely reinvent you and help,... that's amazing! Yes, online shopping has hurt the boutique industry. This is very important, Go Small Business Revolution! :)

Hi Rebecca! Thx! They didn't reinvent me. They got what my store and I are about. They helped me organize my business and marketing far better than I imagined. They are awesome! That's what I loved most about this whole experience- they did not change me, they allowed me to grow in a positive way with my business. Plus, I love that there are such successful women and men willing to help others trying to be successful. I am grateful.

Hi Paulette! It must have been so invigorating to have a team of pros :) Plus your store is really cute! It's so great there is a movement of renaissance men and women (like you) luring us away from our smartphones and PC's and out to the sidewalks into brick and mortar boutiques like yours. Keep up the great work you do :)

I wish every small town had the same feelings towards all their small businesses. My town seems to be only interested in destroying the history of our town and making everything modern and destroying homes to put in retail stores that could be put elsewhere and do just as well as where they want them. We have a few small claims to fame that could be marketed to bring people to our town off a major interstate that runs through the town. Everytime we have a set of construction cones go up somewhere, they become part of the decor and it doesn't seem they will ever come down because o one wants to move forward with fixing the issue where the cones went up in the first place. I really feel sorry for my town. Its like a lost, hurt, dirty, abused, hungry little puppy you find that wish more than ever to rehabilitate and give new life to. It's just disheartening what potential our town has and it's not being given the chance to have this realization come true.

Their new logo makes the name sound like a web address. www.polka.parlor It's confusing and counter-productive, at least in my opinion.
