Great update!!! Your nieces are going to adore those Snowmen!!!!!! Your deer piece is so beautiful and so realistic! Love all your crafty plans!!! Don’t worry, you are not the only one who feels there is not enough time in a day!!! Hugs ❤️

Thanks Melanie! Next year I think I'll pick smaller pieces for their ornaments. They both basically live in their own now so I think they will like getting something to put on their trees. I think crafters must never feel like they have enough time ... I've said it before, but it bears repeating, I don't understand people who say they are bored! 😁

The snowmen are too cute! Can't wait to see the snowglobe! And the Deer... gorgeous!!! I need to get into audio books, to get back into reading! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!! Happy stitching! 💜💜💜

Hi Jodi! If it weren't for audiobooks, this librarian would not get very many books read at all. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well. I'm hoping the snow will hold off a little longer. It is COLD here today and there were flurries in the air as I walked in to job #2.

Your bucket list is interesting, I too need to do something about getting my craft life in order. I knit, cross stitch, crochet, make cards, paint, and have lots of stash for everything. I hadn't made cards for the last 2 years, I made a decision to start making them again and go through as much paper, etc that I can then go through and get rid of as much as I can, especially the stamps, and things I don't use. In doing this, I have slowed down on knitting, no painting, no reading, but I have made a ton of cards, all set for xmas, and lots of birthday and sympathy cards. I have even managed to sell a lot of them. It feels good to use up some stuff but I hardly put a dent in it. I guess one thing at a time and it will get to a manageable place.... I hope, lol. Don't let it stress you out, it's there when you can get to it. Love your videos.

Hi Barb, thanks for stopping by. I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles! Usually if I can get myself started papercrafting, I'm OK. Part of my problem with making cards is I have to go online 1st and find something I want to copy -- I'm not very good about coming up with my own ideas, where as with crossstitch, I just have to follow the pattern. With quilting and knitting. once I get past the picking out of yarn and fabric I'm usually OK, but I do have to be in the mood to sew ... maybe because I'm really not that good at it. I know I need to not really worry about it. The world will keep turning even if I never get any of these things get done. 😊

🤗 Hi Kat! Good to see you! Your cardigan is going to be so pretty, love the color. Such cute Christmas ornaments. Thanks for the book recommendations, I always enjoy Kim Vogel Sawyer. It seems like I listen to audiobooks most of the time as I can do that while stitching or sewing. Have you ever read Amanda Cabot, I’ve listened to several of hers and found them pretty good. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving and find some time for yourself. Take care my friend. ❤️

Thanks for stopping by Carlene. Yes, audiobooks are the only way I'm able to read a decent amount. Yes! I have read a couple of Ananda Cabot's books and enjoyed them. I have several of hers marked as "want to read" on goodreads, I should try to find those on audio. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving as well!

Good to catch up with you Katrina. Nice work on Deer Creek! I don't think I'll be able to complete any of the Nov books in FCF because I'm rotating every week and can only get 3-5k tent stitches per week now that I'm working. It's still progress though!

Thanks Kim! There simply aren’t enough hours in a crafter’s day …especially when we must work, but you are right, we’re need to never lose sight of the fact that progress is progress!

I loved seeing your bucket list. The women of the Bible quilt will be amazing, and so cool to do a bible study as you go. Don’t be so hard on yourself, it sounds like you are doing a great job managing the little time that you have. 😉

Thanks Amber … I know you understand the time constraints all to well. Like all things in life it sure is nice having fellow crafters to commiserate with. 😊

Now, I'm here x2! Ha!! You need to give me some tips and tutorials on making cards. I've never done that and I'm interested in trying. Once upon a time, I was a wish people birthday queen, now I hardly do a thing, and I should...
@TheCraftyCataloger3 жыл бұрын
There are so many things we all should do but there just is not enough time!! I do not feel like I'm that great of a cardmaker I'm really not good at coming up with original ideas and find that I have to find something online that I want to copy and even then sometimes it takes me forever too to copy it decently. I make great use of the splitcoaststampers.com website because they they have a lot Of stampinup stuff on there and most of my stamps are from stampinup.

If you get that new she shed, you will have to plan an area that can be a paper crafting Station😁
