I like your bullet journal pages, especially the page with your monthly focus. Where can I find that red notebook that you show in the video?

Thank you! :) The red notepad at the beginning of the video is from the Target Dollar Spot, and the red notebook in the middle of the video was just a random one on sale at Tuesday Morning... so I'm not sure how likely it is to be found again. The brand of it is "Sheffield Home".

That's what I don't like about all of those pretty planners-you can't use them in every day life. I decided to have a bujo that I won't show anyone, but I will use freely. What's the point in having a bujo only for display?

mysummertouch Yeah, I totally understand and felt the same way for a while. :) The simple notebook that I've been using is definitely the most functional in day to day life. When I was super busy wedding planning and getting situated with my job/life last year, there was no way I could've used anything else, haha. However, now that things have slowed down, I am very much spending most of my time on my personal projects, like my dolls/storytelling hobby, programming games, and art. For these things, I have been wanting a system to help keep everything organized, documented, and categorized, which I have found my leuchtturm1917 and other notebooks are not able to do. So... totally agree with you that from a functional standpoint, pretty planners don't really work on a day to day basis, at least not for most people that work full time jobs or have very busy lives. However, at the current stage of my life, my daily pages 90% of the time just contain random notes, video/blog ideas, and maybe a chore or two. So I think for me I can ditch the notebook for a while and focus on creating a desk planner to sit at home and contain all my dreams, ideas, and for memory keeping. :) I'm sure once I have children or when my life gets crazy again I'll be back in a standard notebook.
