I do think it’s a “new concept” especially to people that grew up in a very “family heavy” culture. When I got with my husband I couldn’t understand why we wouldn’t go together. I found it offensive and weird. But the more he guided me in to his point of view it was pretty cool. And I now take some solo trips once in a while. It’s empowering. My family thinks it’s weird and do major side eye. 😂

The next time I'm back in Paris, I'll drop by the Lemaire store. When I saw the address, the first thing that I thought of on the same street was CSAO, the Senegalese shop, but at #9. I've shopped there regularly since the 1990s. At first I thought that the Lemaire store might have been in that space, as businesses change so much in Paris. But, I just googled and CSAO is still there. Did you drop into that store while on the same street? Greetings from Los Angeles

I loved your Paris vlog and I just got back from Paris, in London currently. I’m from boca raton, FL. We have so much in common, I’m also an introvert and love my own company. In terms of safety in Paris: please avoid the tourist beret. I'm serious. We don't wear them ever so it immediately identifies you as a tourist and makes you easy to follow too.
