Yes it’s so weird lol. Could be the Terra cotta because it’s holds moisture. But I love TC so much. My Poor summer she needs a repot so bad lol. I love her. She is one of my easiest for Sure. Thank you so much for being here! Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍁 💚

The answer to growing alocasia is pon no drainage with a layer of fluval in the bottom. Seriously. Game changing. Give it a try! I trained my Summer Glory to grow up a moss pole in ambient in my plant room in Wisconsin. I no longer own a philodendron gloriosum. The Summer Glory is way prettier!

@@natjoy22 I’ve tried alos in Pon no drainage sans fluval. I could try that. I guess I just decided the heartbreak wasn’t worth it lol. 😂 I admire them from afar. I bet it is getting cold over there!! My summer glory seems to appear to be climbing also. Interesting 🤨 perhaps it’s because she’s in such a small pot but maybe they don’t mind climbing. I totally agree that they are SO underrated and I really enjoy her the bigger she gets. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and thank you so much for Being here 💚💚💚

@@Planted386 Maybe you need to attempt heartier alocasia...Regal Shield, Pink Dragon... And yes, highs in toe 30's this week! But I will take that ANY DAY over hot and humid. I am definitely a winter baby from the midwest!

I have to say. I had never been out west until two years ago. And now, I dream of making a little life out there. I fell madly in love with Arizona but Lake Tahoe was amazing too. The lack of humidity was glorious!! Not sure I could ever be a snow bunny but I def am jelly of the weather out there. Four seasons mush be magical.

@ ahh ok I see. Funny what bothers some People. We all have our thing I guess. I just keep Scrolling. It doesn’t make anyone feel good to see criticism, but I understand that’s part of the “putting yourself out there” if it’s something I can fix I sure will do my best, but I do a have a little lisp and so it isn’t something I can control. My mic also picks up everything so all I can do is my best. 💚
