Great video. Popping cork is an important tool in a wind driven tide.

It sure was that day! That is what they wanted over soft plastics and other options!

Great video nice to see you and your dad fishing I know I miss mine and I'm 59 years old I'm not far from you all but I was going to tell you I use a popping Cork and when it gets slow on the shrimp baits like that when it really slows down put on a 1/4 oz blue and Chrome rattletrap I'm about the same amount of leader you got that shrimp on just thought I'd mention it it's work for me when it gets slow on other things good luck to you and your daddy y'all have a great Thanksgiving

Hey thanks Claude! Yeah it is quality time well spent. Rattletrap is a great bait under the corks, thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well!

Would you mind sharing the shrimp bait you were using? As I mentioned in an earlier comment I just moved to the area this summer and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I have learned a lot from your videos and it sure helps to shorten the learning curve. I am quickly falling in love with the inshore fishing. Duck season now but I can't wait until next summer.

Don't mind at all and thanks for watching. This one was the new Z-man prawn stars 3.5". I use various ones just depending on water clarity and what time of the year it is. I love a Prawn and a Prawn Jr. from Salt Strong, I like a 2" white Vudu, and I also use the Z-Man. Those are my 3.

When two or three gather together in my name, there shall I be in their midst. Matthew 18:20 Prayer is so important and there is something special about prayer in numbers.

Cory, what brand of artificial shrimp is that under the popping cork?

Were yall using the flexible wire corks or the dinner bells? Nice work
@blindhogadventures_Cory.F18 күн бұрын
I have both, I think these were the dinner bells but that is just what I had to grab out of my bag. I use both. I also use the Cigar Corks this time of year!
@ggw794818 күн бұрын
@blindhogadventures_Cory.F im going to try the dinner bells....never been a fan of the flexible wire and cable popping corks.

So I went back and looked at the video because I could not totally recall. So the yellow one I have on is the flexible wire cork. The Orange one I put dad on was the Dinner Bell heavy wire one. I like them both... Both are effective but I have found the heavier wired one puts off a little more of louder "clack" sound where the flexible wired ones displace a little more water. It is really a what ever you prefer kind of thing. As you can see I was not too concerned on which one since I have confidence in both and both produced on this day and each time I go out!
