@@WindowsPlaysFPS it's way way way better than their older 10.3s. No can, I get 5oclock ejection with steel cased ammo and cheap range brass. Maybe 3:30 ejection with m193 or m855. With a can I get 3 o'clock with m193 or m855, maybe 4 o'clock with steel and cheap range ammo. That's all with an h1. It will run on a carbine and an h2, but I have only got about 700-800 rounds yet so I'm not sure where I'll end up, but for now I'm running h1 because I can shoot and do anything and it's nice. Whether you think the company has changed since John passed or not, I think it's safe to say it definitely has changed ever since they landed that DEVGRU contract. Seems fairly obvious that they're prioritizing their MIL/LEO orders over civilian orders, which I can't really blame them for, I guess. The really cringey shit like making skateboard decks is what annoys me the most. They're trying to branch out into different things when they can't even stay on top of their gun business, which is their bread and butter. FYI, Noveske's lead armorer when John was still alive started his own company after John passed. It's called V Seven and they make some amazing, truly innovative stuff. Check them out if you're trying to capture that elusive old Noveske vibe.

If your an Oregon gun whore life long resident like me than you know we are spoiled. Noveske, Radian, V Seven, Stubborn Mule, Ox(was Colt Competition), and STS(fancied up Double Star rifles more or less). The random merch doesn’t bother me. I’d rather have someone wearing clothes from a gun company than from some shithead virtue signaling company that hates everything I stand for. You’d be surprised how many Noveske stickers I see on snowboards at Mt Hood. Hopefully the DEVGRU contract is to them what racing is for car companies.

@@relentlessamerican9373 2012 Time Period. KeyMod is a universal interface system for firearm accessory components designed to supersede the MIL-STD-1913 accessory rails.[1] The concept was first created by VLTOR Weapon Systems of Tucson, Arizona, and released through Noveske Rifleworks of Grants Pass, Oregon, before being published open sourced in the public domain for adoption by the entire firearms accessory industry.[2][3][4] The name "KeyMod" was coined by Eric Kincel (then working for VLTOR Weapon Systems) following the naming trend of other VLTOR accessories with the suffix "Mod" meaning modular, and "Key" being a reference to the key-hole profile of the mounting slots.. 2014 Time Period The specifications for the KeyMod system were initially released by VLTOR Weapon Systems as an open-source set of drawings. As such, some manufacturers have added their own variations on the system such as using the through-hole portion as a sling-swivel attachment point. The critical interface dimensions, however, still follow the specifications. In an effort to ensure interface dimensions are kept consistent and repeatable, Bravo Company MFG released a set of drawings for KeyMod gauges that allow for expedient inspection of the 100° chamfer feature in January 2014.

I don’t like Noveske. I am glad to see they are a small town operation like that and that they care about their products. Did I hear you say they don’t nitride their barrels even though they have the pat? They aren’t CHF their barrels, the are button cutting the rifling so if the finish isn’t nitride is it melanite? (to everyone that doesn’t know cold hammer forging also cuts the rifling into the barrel, CHF doesn’t just speeds a bunch of metal into a small diameter which beats out any carbon and adds incredible strength but they put a mandrel inside the barrel before hammering it which gets super deep set rifling)

I guess you’ve changed my mind on liking who is at Noveske.. kinda but I still don’t like what they make. You can tell me how impressive it is seeing all these employees QC stuff (most of them looked very young) and how this justifys the price but ever see a BCM factory review? DD factory Review? Same shit minus having super young employees. But the price for a Noveske is still higher. I’m sorry but no, just a hard no for me. If Noveskes floated in the $1500 dollar margins I might come out to play but even then probably not cause I could get a proven rifle with bcm at $1200 almost all day. Who do processes which have been proven to be better, like CHF their barrels, they also have extreme quality control and will sell products that don’t meet their standards as a blemished product. Well atleast the uppers and lowers not the BCgs or barrel or rails. When Giessele first introduced their new contract with JSOC and Socom and that they were releasing the URGI to the public I thought for sure it would be Noveske or HK pricing… but then they hit the market for $1800 and bounce between $1800 and $2200 for a complete rifle.
