I got the Taring Carving SV98 stock for my SSG96, and while it took some effort to get it working, i really have been digging the setup. Just wish it had a TDC knob instead of requiring allen key for hop. Great comparison, looks like a big upgrade. I see why they were trying to flush their inventory, haha!

3:05 isn’t the lowest listing for the mkII at 2.2 joules? Unless you’re using a different spring for another country, I know some places have some serious limits on joules for airsoft. 5:45 I’ll have to look into those mags for when I get a mkII

I got the MK I a couple years ago and put a bunch of work into it. Never got as accurate as I would have liked. Wish I could do a trade-in for the MK II. I don't know if I can justify $400 on a better version of the same thing😪 having some definite FOMO though

Think the short outer is so you can effectively have an 'over barrel' suppressor style... Allows the inner barrel to go to the muzzle end of the suppressor.

Sweet.. Mine had to go back, as it was running a little spicy... Got clearance to run it at 2.8J and was taking 70m shots in 20kts of wind..... Running 2.25J now so looking forward to the next outing to try it out. I have the real steel L96 none folding stock which is the reason for getting this. They look great together!!@@FOXGREEN

Why are the guns so weak in Europe? My mk 2 shot 2.57 joules and 560 fps out of the box. Is it a regulation thing?

Yes every country has different power regulations. Ireland is 1 joule anything over that is classed as a firearm. Some parts of Europe are waybhogher than the US. Sweden is 2.5 joules in AeG and 5 joules in snipers for example

I am impressed with this replica. It seems really good out of the box. This leaves me very annoyed unfortunately as I bought the MK1 in July and have had nothing but problems with it. Looks the part and the build quality of all the components is very good, but it just does not perform anywhere lose to what I have seen in your review today. I kinda feel like I have been done in by Novritsch. Sold me a dud knowing they were releasing a new version later in the year. Not a happy airsofter.

Yes I heard the hop up in the MK1 is a disaster but tridos may have solved that with his new TDC for it. But yes cinoared to the mark 1 this is way way way better

Yes most countries have 2 times more power for snipers that I do here in Ireland.

100 meters range for 2.7 joule woth 0.48g bbs. Yes there are different power options you can order just make sure you only order the one that your country allows. Different counties have different power rules legally so if you order one above that it may get stopped at customs and you could not use it in games.

I got sent a 1 joule version by Novritsch as that is the limit here the MK2 is very good I am just about to drop a new video using it also in 2 days also using 1 joule. I use 0.32 gram bbs. But if you are over 2 joules use 0.48g bbs. Get what ever power limit your site allows.

@@FOXGREEN mine ssg24 is aswell! i have one of 100 first batch. But the rifle is unbeatable and its stock. Thats why I ask to compare! trust me you would surprised. Do a accuracy test (25 meters look for grouping) Do a max range test with your joule and if possible with 2 joules.

Yes I have its in my next game. I have had a bad experience with my tac works sometimes fine then other times it's not great. I think I got a lemon so I don't want to say they're all like that. But this for me out of the box is way better. My tac41 has a lot of upgrades and still not perfect

I wear them still bit I prefer having a larger area to cover my face I always seem to get hit on the forehead and nice with my blocs but these bigger ones I don't. The only problem with these is I need to have an anti fog unit on the back of my boonie which is annoying.

@@Floki1313I have an HPA SSX303 with upgraded internals. Definitely worth it. I have a HPA drum mag and a HPA shotgun shell adapter for it. Shoots as straight as an arrow. It’s not bad out the box, but being gas powered, it can be quite unreliable as the pressure decreases in the mags

I was going to buy Silverback tac 41 P and just change spring for beginning. This is cheaper more than 100€. Is it good for field as stock version? From what I saw at reviews silverback can fire quite good 70-80m out of the box

I have been very on the fence about getting the new SSG96 MK2. I have an urban assault kit that would go with it very well, but I have been waiting for it to possibly go on sale this next week during Black Friday. Just one quick question, if im correct you said that i need eg. for the silencer adapter another one than i need for the mk1 , cause they changed the barrel thickness. But on the novritsch website they just list 1 for both ssg96? And the scope that you are using is the Normal scope MK2, and do you think its significant better then the mk1? Would appreciaste an answer

I was wrong about the adaptor actually. But the new MK2 version of the scope is way way better. It's even better than the premium scope I compared all three. The only thing that is nice on the premium scope is the retical

This just seems like they should’ve made this version from the start. Especially with their claims to provide quality products that you can play and compete with right out of the box. I like Novritsch and their customer service/support is arguably the best in airsoft but, this is a disappointing product release. Why they haven’t released a 308/7.62 SR-25, M110 dmr class is beyond me? Hopefully they’ll get passed whatever licensing issues that are keeping them selling their full SSR63 series in the US because those are the only recent products I’m interested in.

I have used Nov guns since the start of my channel 5 years ago. Look at my very first video on KZbin. I only started getting sent them since last year by Nov. If other airsoft companies would send airsoft rifs I would happily review them also but unfortunately they don't so that's not my fault. I have reviewed plenty of other brand airsoft products look at my last three videos its just airsoft riffs that most companies don't send. Work away man its your life 👍🏻

Seeing forward to finally getting the SSG 96, as it seems mark 2. Im just happy the same day i wanted to buy the mk1 i saw the release of MK2 on Insta XDD. i have hade the "well mb08 l96" for 8-10 years, it shoots 2.8j out of the box, and it was 120-130 euro (It shoots good not perfect, the hopup is OK not the best. ) Ps. Love your vids mate @FOXGREEN

@@FOXGREENI don't play with it as much anymore, as there are better ones and due to the J rules here in Denmark it is max 5j, there are other brands that can better withstand being upgraded to such a degree, mostly I use my SRS "22 and my HTI, but those are also weapons in a completely different price class i know. ;) keep up the good work mate ;)
