Agreed on commercials. I went on a date the other day and he told me he was trying to get into advertising. I just said “can you stop people making adverts where people sing” Who likes them?! I love a musical but with that level of suspension of disbelief, you have to acclimatise yourself to the vibe. I’d love to see you guys as guest stars on Australian TV show Gruen. It’s a show all about advertising; critiquing and making fun of television adverts. You were SO on point with how you ripped into commercials on live TV. I live with my boomer parents who won’t adjust to streaming content and insist on watching live TV so I *know* how bad ads are on live TV. We tried watching a movie that was on live tv last night and holy fuck the ads were soooo annoying. Anyways, I’d love to see you guys on Gruen to just read various ads to FILTH. Alex had an amazing debut but the momentum didn't carry over. Her second album tanked and there was a "mutual" break up with her label. The theory is that after the failure of her 2nd album she either couldn't find a label that would snatch her up(possible) or she decided to reevaluate her career and never returned to music. The latter is most likely, especially with most people feeling she was pushed into the business by her father(he was the one that signed her on to Fame Academy). Stories like hers are very common. One hit wonders that are smart enough to realize. They've reached the end line and just gracefully bow out.
