Always cool reception in Paris for Paul. French can’t express emotion for English music. Not their thing

@@mikewa2 perhaps it’s the other way around? Perhaps the emotions are so strong, especially for such a song, that we (french or not) may just sit low and only feel? Without even having to express anything? Don’t know…I was at the Defense arena on both concerts - sitting on the 1st, ‘debout’ on the 2nd. I may only say that I certainly felt the warmth of the audience on the 4th, but also witnessing it somehow on that day as I had a general overview (let’s say) from where I was sitting. But on the 5th, when I was at the arena? I simply let myself go to my emotions. And I think that this is what everyone was doing. Expressing them publicly or not? This is another topic…. See what I mean? I do believe that this is really beyond the way that French express their emotion about English music. I think that it is deeper than that for them, from what I experienced those 2 nights at least…
