Thanks for sharing your journey. We did have a french lady pull straight out in front of us whilst entering Pont L 'Abbe Brittany causing quite a lot of damage to her car, my Volvo only suffered a slight scuff. Insurance company blamed me. Was out for those roads from the left in the towns. Hope you enjoyed that area of Brittany.😀

The sign you passed just before the junction (red bordered triangle with a cross in the centre) indicates the junction is priorité à droite, i.e. you must give way to cars joining from right. It's an antiquated right of way system that is slowly being phased out but you still see it quite a lot in small villages. Enjoyed the video!

It’s not an antiquated right of way system and it’s not being phased out. In many countries using PaD in towns is growing rapidly. It’s a great traffic calming system.

We usually do Poole - Cherbourg and then a night or two in Haliotis, always take the comfort pitches as theyre not much more money, they also have black water waste on the pitch as well. Anyone staying at Haliotis, is best using either Carrefour filling station before hitting the roads again, or if your english debit card doesnt work (ours didnt) there is another filling station at the top end of Pontorson town (there is also a McD's there if your kids like it.

priorité a droite or drivers coming onto a main road from your right is common in rural parts of France. Not so much in the bigger towns & cities. But you must be aware this is more common than you think.

If you read the road signs you would have understood the PaD. I’d had enough by then. If you were going to complain about every little thing that was different why didn’t you stay and find a nice camp site in England. Travelling is meant to broaden the mind.

I was quite enjoying that until you started moaning about the campsite… You sounded like a couple of spoiled brats. It looked more than good enough to me especially as it’s only an overnight stopover. There’s no pleasing some people.
