In 1977, Jay Brewer stepped onto campus at Texas A&M University and joined the Aggie Band, where he never left. After 40 years of serving the Aggie Band as director and the "Voice of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band," Col. Jay Brewer signed off for the final time. This is his story.
