Love how Indian art forms are getting recognition worldwide, thanks to Amazon and Zwende. Beautifully captured video, the artisans living in these remote villages are so talented, and getting a platform as such, is amazing. The quote by Werner Voguls - " Whenever your guy says, this might be good, but your mind your head says, maybe next year, do it now", is definitely going to stay with me.

Hats off to the two youngsters ! Obviously their products must be great and bang for the bucks if you can produce a video like this. Any youngster seeing this in India will swell with pride and give him or her tremendous confidence to launch oneself headlong into innovative ideas. This is a world class video and must be showcased by Govt of India to build self belief , shown to training institutes. Congrats Ms Inu and Mr Sujay. The world will be at your feet. not only the handcrafts, the artifacts, the village & whole state is so colorful and vivid. It’s an universal problem of how to adapt traditional art forms to modern day tastes and preserve them. It’s not easy to make tech easily accessible to users but these guys have great business idea, and the outsource did great job building application layer. They are even printing the patterns on masks now. Very nice. Hope their business do well.

It's just e commerce website. Don't be so dramatic.as they're talking about creating new artform for young Indian market.what is it about?at most they are designing lamps and purses.how much Gucci handbags cost?? Is there even a comparison??
@DancewithRu4 жыл бұрын
Well, they are an e-commerce company with a motive to save dying indian artforms. So maybe, it's a little more than Gucci :)
@PrMohan144 жыл бұрын
Not exactly. The feedback and close loop with actual artisans is the key here, which definitely means artisans in villages know more about what urban consumers want - a big gap that they are filling them on! This could be next Gucci, who knows! And their site has option for custom-designing your own product - now that is a far leap from standard “e-commerce” as we call it.
