I like your thinking 🤔 of not to rule any player out ? His Highlights are something that’s for sure. My worry of picking him over players like Lalor and O’Sullivan is would one day would he want to go back to SA ? I keen of Lindsay at one of Richmond picks ? Is Lindsey the find in this draft like Simon Black was in his Draft? Lindsey does a lot of things Well. I have always been keen on Tall Forwards in this Draft but if Clubs get Armstrong and Shanahan before us ? Could we end up with a Midfield of Lalor at pick 1 Smillie at pick 6 , Allen at pick 10 , Lindsey at pick 11 ? , Berry at pick 18. And I till think like Cameron Hick said on your show we should get Gerreyn and Jaques with some of those late picks. This week to go and then next week Wednesday we find out ? Yeah the go home factor I think is a bit more fresh in our minds on the back of Bake and Bolton, but it's hard to look past him I think, very tough choice to not select him on exposed form. I like Lindsey too, would not be against him at 10 or 11 if he lasts that long!

Draper a gun ready made already, him and FOS best 2 in draft. If Draper wasn’t injured or even showed in combine more people would notice. I’m glad you have posted this his a gun will be a 200 game plus player. Suits our style to will spread ball elite for us to serge forward. Mind you his a natural leader. We are sleeping on this one.

I agree with everything you said. His professionalism as well makes me less nervous about go home factor. He just seems like a 'footy nut' who wants to play no matter what or where. He posted the highest agility test score in 2023 pre season testing of 7.80 seconds. I think he fits us well.

I get people are saying Lalor is like dusty but tbh I don’t think someone ever can be Dusty is one of a kind. If more people do research on dusty when he was younger they’d realise Dusty was evasive, strong and tackled with redic penetration going forward. Lalor isn’t like that. Pretty much a discounted version in my opinion. I pray tigs don’t get sucked in with dusty hype when his not. They did same thing with cam Rayner if you remember. Not even close comparison. Also I think take best at draft, midfielders/flankers. we will be able to pick talls later in this draft and hopefully we are determined to target Aaron cadman for next season.

Definitely needs to be looked at. He has elite speed and I think on vision alone, he needs to be in consideration with FOS but I'd still take Lalor first. I think the only downfall and why he isn't being touted at a genuine number 1 contender is because of the 'go home' factor. Plus Adelaide having pick 4, I think clubs will just pass him up and let him head there.

Yeah I think the SA factor is what stopped me from looking at him earlier, but I would hate for us to not consider him because of it upon reflection. It's probably a bit more raw though I suspect given we just lost 2 players to go home factors. Very very talented though!

We don’t need Lalor 😂 if you think his dusty you’re so wrong. We are silly to fall into this trap. We need to trade for norths 2nd pick is a must. 6 and 18 for future first if can. Draper/FOS is a must. Both of these guys been doing it for years. Draper could even be a future captain. People need to realise not every player outside vic want to go home. Look at Cripps his WA. Has he gone home? Take best available. I pray people do there research and stop non sense talk. Lalor isn’t dusty. Not even close need to show these people videos of Dusty’s at his age.

Sam Lalor/FOS but if Draper slides and some of the other clubs take Jagga Smith or FOS instead before our pick 6, we would be crazy not to take Draper back our club to keep him like we did with Edwards.

As a North supporter, I would very much like to trade with Richmond, I don't think it will happen, if Richmond want Draper you will need to get him at pick 1, North won't select him at 2, the Go Home factor is the worry, and we have been burnt before and he will be gone by Pick 6. A trade with North can get you picks 1 & 2, giving Richmond the freedom to select Draper and a second gun Mid.
