The only strange thing is the abundance of asian food. The lateness is unfortunately pretty common for south america. Be thankful the driver wasn't rushing like he was trying to save his mother from the gallows. The electrocution is a legit fear of mine, since electric showers are quite common. I have one. This is more common in older models, though

You only visited a borderline city, therefore you cannot say that you've actually known the food of an entire country .... Paraguay -for your reference- is famous for its great quality beef ... we have asados (bbq) and lots of other foods. Besides, If you want to really know a country its better for you to come to Asuncion, Cordillera, Guaira and others., instead of experiencing life nearby our neighborg countries Brazil and Argentina... which of course influence lifestyle in such areas..@@HaleyandZach

I was in Argentina for a summer and then spent 1 week in Ciudad de Este Paraguay… and I hated it. The people boomed super loud music from the cars and houses at all hours of the day. It was a shithole of a place. I would never go there again.
