She used to be Joan Clark and my momma was her cousin. When she was 9 years old she asked God to give her the gift of playing the piano so she can give back to God. She promised never to play anything but church music and to give God the glory. She closed her eyes and played that piano and played it gorgeously.. never had a lesson. God gave her the gift immediately. She used to sing a song called the Blood of Jesus and it was the most beautiful song I ever heard. My momma loved her cousin. Now my momma is gone to await the day that the dead shall rise and we will meet again in our heavenly home. I watch this to remember my momma and her stories she told me. 😍

This great Apostolic lady was wife to Murrell Ewing and author of his songs. She was a bangin' church organist for 30 yrs. She's mother to Landy and Vonnie (Ewing) Lopez. A prolific song writer/ poet/psalmist, a renowned artist in her own right.
