Superb video thank you! I know to some it feels a tad insane to spend more on mods that you paid for the bike, but once you've dabbled in that world you realise it's sooo much more fun than buying "the thing" that you probably still want to change! If you have the equipment, skills and time to fabricate a lot of the parts yourself then maybe you can do this more cheaply, but let's face it, that counts most of us out. I love your honesty over costs, that's so rare and really refreshing. We all know that professionally manufactured and certified parts are not cheap, so hats off to you for not trying to hide this. Not sure how many of your subscribers are from the UK, but you can certainly add one more. Great job folks.

I wished that's all I got in mine. I have a 2013 Ultra Classic. I paid $12.500 it only had 6200 miles on it in 2021. My wife passed away shortly after I bought it. She told me to make it look out of this world. And I just did that. All last year I didn't even get to ride. Because I strip everything stock off. I went all LED lights and clean it up from being stock. Like I said $12.500 bought the bike. And another $22.000 in customization . I know it's not nothing spectacular. But it's mine and I love how it looks now. Wish I could send you pictures of it. I dedicated to the memory of my beautiful wife. You two forgot to add how much you spent on drinks working on the Road Glide. Lol

Honestly that’s not all that bad. I got my 2015 electra glide and turned around and put 6 grand into it a couple months after I got it. I still need to do cam and exhaust as well. Nice job on this video. Yes, I went back & caught up. For a performance build on a older H-D, not bad at all. But you are still talking cam upgrade & maybe displacement ? That could get pricey. But look at all the savings you make in doing it yourselves. Yeah, with combined costs, you could've gotten a newer model (but not a brand new one), but it still would've been bone stock. Lastly, any plans for a stereo upgrade ? As an ex- youtube guy & an Indian rider, myself, I didn't think I'd enjoy your channel, but I do..... You guys are very entertaining.

Hey VP, love your vids. My thoughts, 16k for a custom road glide is amazing. If you add the 100+ hrs of labor at $90 an hour (which is cheap) you'd be at.... $25k. Which is still a great deal for a full custom road glide w/ 15k miles. Awesome work. Can I bring you my '05 dyna, over the winter for a build? Want to do an fxr style build w/ large road glide style fairing build. Its currently stock silver paint w/ the same gray motor. Just got it. Couldn't pass it up for $4,500. Please be honest and add in the sales tax on top of all the parts purchases. It's 10.5% where I live, on top of every new part I buy, plus, sometimes additional shipping charges. I bought a used 2018 Sport Glide with 15k miles on it. It had $3500 in upgrades. Exhaust is stock, it's plenty loud as it is. It has probably $23000 into it. I bought it end of riding season in Dec 2022, for $10,500 from a private party. In the process now rebuilding the leaky fork seals.... Probably $400 to 450, service and parts, and adding a 4.5" travel 56mm mono shock on the rear over the stock 43mm shock that's only 3.5" of travel, $140 used, off of a Fat Bob with 3200 miles on it. The Saddlemen Explorer seat it came with and the risers as well as the Gustafsson wind screen were musts, they are an absolute practicallity. I will at some point in time add a sissy bar and rack, and Saddlemen Travel bags for longer trips. If it flies, floats, f8cks or has two wheels, rent it, don't buy it, is what my attorney told me. I've owned them all, and me attorney was right.
