That happened to my 13 year old and I took her to the emergency vet - I thought she’d had a stroke but it was crystals in her ears so she couldn’t stand and was really dizzy. It’s left her unstable on her back legs but she’s 14 now so every day is a gift.

what happens to those cubs once they are weaned? just curious because here in BC we are told not to feed the wild animals because once they get used to humans, it is dangerous for them, in case they encroach on someone's child etc., not chastising you just wondering what the laws are in Britain

Yes, some say that but many people feed foxes in the UK. She came to be as a cub at the beginning of the lockdown so that's why. She was very tiny and hungry because all the usual overflowing bins from pubs etc. didn't exist and she helped my mental health too! I didn't feed any others when she disappeared for 5 months but now she's back and has cubs I feel I have to - till I go away! There are no laws here saying we shouldn't and they are not at all dangerous. There's loads of info. on Fox Protection sites. x

Hello dear Suzi! I view on the tv & forget to comment, sorry. All's well that ends well great ending to your vlog. I loved the clothies at the end Always looking fabulous you're such a good model! I love the Burberry coat, what a great find. I don't know which to mention first poor Jack or poor Dalia. Glad you didn't catch her cooties. Feeding a cold did her very well, from breakfast to lunch & pub all the food looked so good. Dalia is adorable and little Jack just follows her so cute; wishes for her total restoration. Sorry to hear of Jack's episode how scary. 😢 I never thought that about dogs but they don't worry on what's next being in the present. Fox is so precious!! So glad she returned. I hope when you leave for Australia your neighbor puts food out for her to get nutrition for her cubs as a mama again. Maybe you can leave a little trail for her to follow. Enjoy your overnight stay at the Soho house accommodations. ( I hope this isn't off putting but MM gives them a bad rep in my opinion, not a fan). Best wishes to you!!

Great episode. I loved the tour at the art gallery with Rudyard Kipling. Enjoyed the shopping and loved the lunch by the sea, the food looked exquisite. The scenery reminded me of the painting of the Romantic period, that one with the man looking out to sea by Caspar Friedrich. Always lovely to see your friend Dahlia and little Jack running about.

Have a go at Directions. They make lots of colours that you can do at home but because I don’t have white grey hair I don’t know how it will go. Check it all out and do your research and I hope you can do it at home in a colour you like. Personally, I LOVE white hair and am very envious!

Hiya Suzi Thankyou for a visit which was much enjoyed. Hellooo Dalia! Cuddles for Jack, yay keep us posted on Sox. I must say I have not had a good fish & chip for years,& to include that sea view well instantly I flashback to when I was wee living in kirkcaldy fife. My grandad used to take me for a catch or two depending on season. I recall once the catch was a large crab, so when we got back to Gran’s my cousins were visiting so the 2 bed-wee flat was full & I chased them around with it lol Thankyou for a lovely memory. I wonder if the vet has ruled out epilepsy. I have had about 10 dogs in my life and one became epileptic at about 7 years and the other two when they were very old. The symptoms sounds just like what my dogs had and they lived quite a few more years with medication but the youngest one couldn't stop having the seizures after about 3 years. Good luck. I am going to the Netherlands in May for 19 days and already feel sad for my 15 year old kitties because they will miss me so much but at least they have each other. I have caretakers that come over to the house but they clean the litter boxes, drop food and water and then leave and I have only left them for a week once and two weeks another time in their entire lives and I do worry if they get sick but luckily they are all very healthy...so far. I love the coat and I do watch later, it's Monday after 5 a.m. and haven't slept yet, I ate too much food and dealt with sick family members.

If he does it again Karin I will certainly get a second opinion and ask about epilepsy. Thank you. I had an epileptic cat once and what Jack had was completely different. But oh my goodness, you’re dong what I’m doing, and we will both be so worried about our animals but we have to carry on with life! Will keep you posted. Hope you get some sleep soon! xx

Hi Suzi, I'm so sorry to hear your sweet boy had another episode. I was wondering if it might be some sort of mild poisoning from something inhaled or eaten during his walks... like a weed killer sprayed along a lane ...or a toxic wild plant of some sort that's starting to grow now in the early spring. If you went to Australia at the same last year, it could be a seasonal thing related to one of the above. My inlaws in Virginia found that their animals were having serious allergic reactions to the weed killer they used on their driveway in the spring. That's why I'm thinking along these lines. Anyway, I'm glad to hear Jack is feeling better now.

@@AlternativeAgeing I know, but he’s 102 years old and we’re all pretty creaky at that age. It is just cringy that’s all. My 16 year old dog died last year and I imagined that her organs and tummy and everything internal (and old joints!) where more sensitive and dogs don’t complain. I see that you have adored him for all these years and you are lucky to have each other. 😊
