Haitian gang leader Jimmy Cherizier, alias "Barbecue," called for dialogue with the government and said he would be willing to allow that country to be pacified.
This was reported by the Haitian media Américainfo7, which indicates that "Barbecue", leader of the gang alliance known as Viv Ansanm, sent a message to the Haitian government requesting that dialogue be prioritized.
"The former police officer said that they are willing to remain in their holes, allow life to resume, for the country to be pacified and they want to prioritize dialogue, according to what he affirms," says the Haitian media in reference to a video with that message for the new Prime Minister, Garry Conille.
