He's still a member of NU, just inactive. The members are allowed to pursue their solo career while still in the group. When the pandemic happened, their tours were cancelled but the members keep on creating contents individually from their home country while some members decided to do solo projects, just like Krystian when he become a trainee.

I don't know why but this video made me finally feel like taking Mandarin Honors for the past three years was worth it. (谢谢我的中文老师。) And thank you Now United for having all these cultures come together as a group to advocate positivity, peace, and love. As an American who is of mostly Filipino (with some Japanese and Iberian) decent, and grew up with a mother who could speak six or seven (i don't remember) languages, I enjoy learning more about other parts of the world; I like how we as your supporters are able to experience more of the world through your views, videos, music and cultures. I think Krystian might be my fave. He has these serious eyes that are so piercing (intimidating af haha) yet, his passion just makes it ridiculously charming.
