My apologies for the audio issues on this video and the ones of this session, I am having some technical difficulties with the software. I tried re-recording all the videos and the same thing happened. Hopefully all is sorted by the next recording session, have an amazing day💖

What a fantastic cover of this song! I listen to Louis Armstrong's Christmas album every year, so I have heard this song very recently. I will definitely add this VoicePlay song to my Christmas playlist!

You're psychic, LT! It's funny because every reactor I've seen has gone into this wondering if they'd add the Armstrong to the voice, and paused after the first verse saying "Oh, I guess not! Not yet anyway!" But none have guessed J. None would do it. He actually does a lot of other voices, like in "The Last Shanty," but we tend to forget he has that skill. Anyway, super reaction, and you get points for your guess! Oh, and this song scared me as a kid, so I never really liked it (as much as I love Armstrong's voice), but last night I played this on repeat for a couple hours! LOL! 💚❤

J definitely channeled his inner Louis! So VP decided to do "something different" - of course! Love them for it 😉. ⚘️🕊

I believe it was Layne doing the whistle. The one who does the arrangement - in this case Layne - puts out a demo for the rest of the guys where he sings all the parts. Although there were a few variations from the demo in the finished video, the whistle was the same. I think they just had Cesar mime the whistle for the video since it was layered with Layne beatboxing. Next time you watch it, look at the tree topper - it’s a golden VoicePlay logo!

Thanks for another VoicePlay reaction to their latest Christmas tune. This is the third time that Layne has arranged this one for VoicePlay over the years. Apparently, they used to perform this live in their pre-pandemic shutdown days. One of the previous arrangements is also on one of their Christmas CDs from that time. Always good to see J. back with the guys. He does a great Louis Armstrong tribute. Layne had a new toy to use for this one...they used a robotic arm with multiple cameras. Eli had to connect his computer with the lighting cues to the robotic arm computer to sync everything up. "Carol of the Bells," Geoff's solo Christmas release (also dropped on Friday) is awesome; seems to be averaging 100K views per day. Judging from his album art, the Geoffquakes did some damage! Hoping that you can react to it soon! LOL

Loved your reaction!! And you wondering if one would do Louis Armstrong! They really went all out on this one. Oh a bit of trivia, I have a picture of my uncle with Louis!! I think it was taken in the 1950's. I know my uncle went to clubs and played the piano. Was great to know he met Louis!!
