But there's mental visualization exercises where you try to imagine the apple rotating so that you have to visualize it from changing angles and perspectives. The imagining an apple thing is how you can test your ability to mentally visualize things as a whole object, but it works with any other object. There's talent to it, but it's largely a skill you can train - I'm not too great at it but I can visualize the shape and appearance of most familiar objects. You can imagine how it looks as bites are taken out of it, how it looks in different lights, and add other forms of complexity.

I really feel that roguelikes are the liveservice equivalent of AAA games. Trying to desperately create a game that lasts forever. At least the indies don't try to drain your money for it. But here we have DD2 where they ask the bold question: what if we turn our IP into Slay the Spire.

I’ve played a lot of hours of this new iteration of darkest dungeon. I can say without a doubt it is simply unfun. Put about 20 hours in and the mechanics just plain suck. Yes I get it’s supposed to be a “hard” game. But it’s just not hard in a fun way.
