Technically everywhere in the UK is private land. What is important though is public place, which is anywhere the public can go, do go, either through design or just common use, on payment or otherwise. So a patch of waste land used by kids is a public place. A corridor in a block of flats used by the public as a short cut. But the path to a locked door which can only be used by authorised people is not a public place.

The studios were constructed 2015 and in 2020 Great Point signed a 10 year lease for the studios. In 2023 Great Point purchased the studio property from the Welsh Government with plans to expand. The 200k ft2 includes an additional four studio stages by end 2025;; current structure provides 4 stages totaling 74k ft2 and 40k ft2 other spaces. Historically the land from the railway to the shore was agricultural fields. Great video and drone views. 🚂⭐⭐⭐👍

The reality will be that they do not have permission to approach people outside the place they are guarding. The moment they step off the "private property" they lose many things, such as insurance, authoritah, etc. And they could be charged with harassment under The Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

"Specialist training that the SIA provide" -PMSL. As we often see in Audit video's, SIA licenced staff are often clueless and barely able to tie their own shoelaces. I like the idea of an Acceditation authority for security guards, to maintain standards and ensure basic legal principles are followed but sometimes I think the blue badges are handed out free in boxes of cornflakes.
