Tell us again how slow this scooter is at 15MPH when virtually all scooters are limited to 15MPH as a maximum speed because that is what the LAW is. You're clowns. Visit Los Angeles. You'll PRAY for your 15MPH Megawheels scooter because in the nation's 2nd largest city, all scooters are regulated to a maximum speed of 12 MPH. The errors in your Beavis and Butthead "review" are embarrassingly bad.

Update: Megawheels did send us the parts we asked for, but they are the same parts that are already on the scooter! So there was no fix for the folding mechanism problems that we had

Read what the clowns wrote here. Megawheels "DID SENT THE PARTS WE ASKED FOR." In other words the clowns had no idea what they were asking for and got what they asked for which isn't apparently what they need. I own this scooter and have N O N E of the problems these clowns have. Leaves you wondering doesn't it? I'm still not over how many times they ridiculed this scooter over MPH when the scooter tracts to the fastest street legal speed allowed by the law. These clowns have no idea what they are doing here.

This is a very poor review. These two are very impressed with themselves and apparently think they're funny comedians but they're not and this isn't a review. It's a high school funny boy video. It's Beetlejuice Beavis and his sidekick Butthead doing a video. I bought this scooter. It's an entry level scooter that is well designed and an excellent product for the price range it's in. No it's not a Lamborghini of scooters but it also doesn't claim to be. You don't spank a Kia for not being a Lamborghini. If you are interested in something that offers good acceleration (yes I said good acceleration, maybe Beetlejuice Beavis needs to lose some weight if he can't find a scooter fast enough for him), moderate speeds and decent travel range at an affordable price, this is a scooter worth your consideration. I have *no* problem with acceleration on this scooter. None. Plenty fast for me. Glacial? Ridiculous. Try plugging it in and charging it before you get on it Beetlejuice Beavis. Beetlejuice Beavis also thinks this scooter is too slow at 15MPH. Really? Anyone know what the legal top speed is (2 years ago AND today) for scooters on most public roads across the country? It's 15MPH. I live in California and my state and most others limit top scooter speeds on public roads to 15MPH. IN LOS ANGELES, 12MPH SPEED LIMITERS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ON ALL SCOOTERS IN THE NATION'S 2ND-LARGEST CITY FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS. Most scooter manufacturers actually put restrictors on their scooters so the scooters can't go faster than 15MPH. Beavis thinks that's too slow. But then as we all are seeing, Beavis isn't worried about quality reviews or real facts, he just tries to be funny (and he fails at it). Yes you could use a speed-unlimited race scooter at a private race track at any speed you want but this isn't a racing scooter. The manufacturer never claimed it to be a racing scooter. It's a street-legal scooter for people with basic expectations for a scooter. Beetlejuice Beavis misses the mark again. Again and again I say, you don't beat up a Kia for not being a Lamborghini or a Ferrari. If you are looking for a higher-end product with high-end speed and lots of features, this isn't what you are looking for. But you have to pay for that higher-end scooter. You're not going to pick it up for a couple hundred dollars. I use my Megawheels for jumping around the campus area I live in. It's terrific for getting me to the quarter mile connections I need to go to and from or the mile or two to Starbucks. No, I wouldn't use it to commute 10 miles to an office or to go on unpaved roads. That isn't what it was designed for. You can get scooters that have heavy suspensions, large batteries and speeds up to 60MPH, but you have to pay for that type of equipment. The Megawheels scooter is a great product if you are looking for a good quality basic scooter. If you want a Lamborghini of scooters, keep looking. Meantime, don't follow these two. They're complete clowns. They'd be funnier if they did Beavis and Butthead cartoons. "Bottom of the barrel?" "Piece of crap?" "Loser?" Those definitions fit these two clown posters, not this good product.

The scooter lives to it's name in my opinion. My brother got one for his birthday a few days ago (early present) and he says it's absolutely amazing. I weigh quite a lot and it manages to carry 50 pounds more than the max load.

If the locking mechanism fails do what I did when I was in the military. Improvise! Use some ducking tape around the locking lever.

Yes but it'll still rattle. Better luck finding a bolt that size and shove it in so it won't rattle as much.

Some of the problems you mentioned were not on my recent purchase so they fixed them. Also, the S10 7.5 Amp was under $200 this week so the prices keep coming down.

@Will Rivers Unfortunately that's the 5 Amp hour scooter. It's not as powerful as the 7.5 wh model we were referring to. Our model is still around $200 ish

Had mine for about 2 months now. Hit the TINIEST of bumps, and now it drifts waaaaaay to the right, and I have to keep my handles turned left and lean really far to even ATTEMPT to ride straight. No visible signs of damage, but the difference in riding before versus after that tiny bump is unmistakable. Not a good impression for my first electric scooter

I got this scooter for Christmas and I apsolotly love it 10/10 would recommend. Work great up hill and down hill. Going up hill it will take it a minute to get to speed but once it does it is great

My first scooter was a grey market beta tester import dump from ebay an "Ancheer" 'dolphin' scooter bike approx 5 ah and approx $250. Failed after 8 months and roughly 40-50 miles. Now I bought this Megawheels scooter from ebay $219 ($209 w $10 coupon) WITH an Allstate 3 yr warranty $16. Scooter is supposedly 7.8 ah. This is August 2023. So I have not had any of the problems you have had so far. But after being burned from the "Ancheer" 'dolphin' DYU scooter bike I bought approx 7 years ago, when hardly anyone seen or had one. And people looked at me like I rolled up in an UFO! This time, I went cheaper and with a good 3 year warranty from Allstate. My guess is all these scooters just die after a year or two. No matter how much they cost. I need a cheap commuter because my job assignments changed where my car commute is down drastically by 80%. Which is good. Now I can if need be, scoot to the train station 1 mile away. Or just scoot to lots of nearby shopping around me.

Wholeheartedly AGREE! I used my friends S10 to go to the city centre and back and it wasn't very fast, pretty much have up when going up the slightest incline and the battery was almost dead in less than an hours ride. Don't even buy this for a 10yr old! It's utter garbage!

I bought the mscooter and it ran well, then it started showing a E5 code and would stop working and would not start again. When I plug in the charger cord, it would come on and show fully charged. Now every time I ride the code pops up and it shuts down again. What do these codes mean please. Tried to contact company but no answer

@@tammysokol9573 E5 indicates an undervoltage problem, likely a bad battery. I had the same problem. Megawheels was ZERO help.

Buying a MegaWheel was a MegaDisater!!! There is no after sales support, bought the scooter less than a year ago and battery failed. MegaDisater Ebay service has not been helpful with a solution. Move on to another brand and look into the warranty and after sales support!!!

This scooter is a load of crap I got one off ebay last year had it 8 months it packed up, the company I had it off did not wont to get it repaired had it done myself the price was £160 -00 for a new battriey, this company did not do it right it went back again to them again, by this time the deck cover was no good have tryed to get a new one with no luck , BE WARNED KEEP AWAY FROM THIS SCOOTER MEGAWHEELS S10 NO GOOD CRAP FROM CHINA.
