To a lot of people the Falcon might look ugly but it is like the U.S.S. Defiant from Star Trek it's a tough little ship that could take on anything and still keep on going like fighting off squadrons of Tie Fighters to the Imperial 1 and Imperial 2 class Star Destroyers because remember during the chase scene from The Empire Strikes Back where the Falcon was leaving the asteroid belt and the Star Destroyer Avenger was chasing it the Falcon took a direct hit to it's back side from one of the Destroyers cannons which just shows how tough the Falcon is.

I saw a Spacedock video on the Millennium Falcon and it said that the Corellian YT-1300 series greatest selling asset was it's modularity so in other words the Corellian YT series could be custom fitted for just about everything and anything depending on they're owners.

I love the new, old Millennium Falcon. The clean black and white interiors are elegant, and the filled in front fork looks like it should have always been there. The blue markings are awesome, and the addition of exterior plate covers gives it a sleeker profile.

Maryann Newcomb What? Paid? I don't know what you mean. 😋 Okay, seriously, the Falcon that we know and love was a little "worn," I could quote the dozens of times someone call a piece of junk in episode 4, but I won't. I just meant that EVERYTHING at some point was new. It was nice to see the Falcon in factory fresh condition right off the show room floor.

With the whole new resistance on board it needs a handful of cargo containers full of supplies, weapons etc. Has mandible. Maybe some crew quarters and extra weapon container.

When this dude mentioned Rat Rods Thats what I thought of Ryan Church and JJ Abrams when they where making 2009 trek. and their JJ Prise concept I mean Ryan Church's Enteprise in my eyes was never intended for good good looks but for a combination of speed, and power. In essance Ryan Church's Enterprise has nothing on Solo's falcon.

The Falcon design is based off Valerian's ship from the comics. A lot of Star Wars iconic looks are ripped off from the Valerian comics.
