Nothing would change on the Political News landscape. Because in my opinion, 1 side continually LIES about Everything, all the time. How long before he's then accused of being partisan? For calling out the Lies?. They call fact checking biased. I debated w a Trumper who referred to Left leaning fact checkers? Facts, Proof, Evidence is Not partisan, Not Democrat nor Republican. Something is either True or Not, evidence exists or it does not.

I love this. This is what real journalism looks like. When politicians are asked direct, concise questions and evade them especially to speak about something completely different they need to be shut down and called on it immediately. Debates are the closest thing we have to job interviews for politicians and we need to stop treating them with kid gloves. He's direct without being unduly condescending, mean, or rude; he just wants the truth. The only thing missing is the ability to cut the mics of these little prima donnas when they start getting all uppity about the tiniest bit of accountability.

For Colorado, yes, it would be a loss. But as you point out, it would be the _nation's_ gain, which is good for everybody. We definitely need more journalists like him - prepared, knowledgeable, and not willing to let politicians deny, deflect, or denounce their way out of the truth.

Unfortunately if he goes to that level they will not allow him to ask those kinds of questions. He will have to tow a line so to speak. One tough interview and that politician will be making calls to that network requesting him to "tone it down" so the network can continue to have "access" to said politician.
