The Grandma wants the best for the child and herself - adopt out to lovely couple in Vientiane with means to support/educate her properly. Lovely couple makes logical and solid decision not to adopt child but decides that helping child's education from afar is the safe/intelligent decision. The Grandma agrees, asking the lovely couple to just take the child on a holiday (the brand new, shiny sports car that you can have for a few weeks with no obligation; just return on time and unscathed). The lovely, consciences, and caring couple, now have a decision to make. So many Pros and Cons on both sides. No doubt your decision will be correct either way. Good Luck.

Harriet and I only wish we had great plants like you do. Mina has been a great joy to see on camera. We are going to miss her when she goes back to school. When you go to most pools in the US you pass through a shower room before entering the pool, I think mostly to put cloths in a locker I think most people shower when they get out, it's been a while, but some might before entering.

Hi Todd & Neenee, I'm not sure who is having the greatest fun time, you two or Mina?😀 In the UK where I live (just outside Manchester city centre) there two Public pools within a mile of my home. Both are indoors and heated, one is in a big leisure centre, the other is just a Pool and is used by many of the local primary and secondary schools to give kids swimming lessons. Costs the kids nothing, it's part of Phys Ed and seen as essential for their safety and wellbeing. Showers at these two pools- you cannot possibly access or leave the pool area without walking through a shower corridor and footbath. You have to walk through the shower area going in and out, absolutely no choice and no-one is exempt. They even have a special wheelchair for anyone who is disabled. There are more hot showers in the changing room for after your swim where you can have a proper soap down shower. If you've called on your way home from work, most people would also have a hot shower before going through the compulsary one into the pool. I don't think I've been in a pool in the last 20 years where you were not 'Expected' to shower before going in the pool. Thinking about Mina, she also needs to understand about floating to safety, if she fell into somewhere like the Mekong where you had a room on the side of the river last year, any child, swimmer or not, would have little chance in that current.

Great vlog as always Todd! Those plants are fabulous, a real bargain! Mina is like a little fish in the water, showing off doing back stoke as well. I hope that she can learn to swim properly before you take her home. Many pools in UK insist on showers and foot baths before you enter the pool, but not all and there are indoor pools in UK to combat the cold and wet. Mina is having such a great time with you both and you enjoy the fun as much as she does. God bless you all 😀❤🙏
