Beautiful filming and editing, Tom - you really captured the vibe of a Nozawa Onsen ski trip.

Have you ever been to Niseko? If so how does Nozawa Onsen compare?
@tomperry619 жыл бұрын
+Jarred Mack yes have been to Niseko a couple of times but haven't been there in the last 5 years. Nozawa town has a really cool authentic Japanese feel to it. Niseko has been rebuilt and has lost that feel. In terms of the mountain I found the powder in Niseko to be lighter - a little harder to ride because it is so light but a joy. In saying that though I have had some epic powder days in Nozawa, weekdays you can find you nearly have the place to yourself. Can easily just lap the same run for hours and get fresh lines every time. Niseko was busier not sure how it is now though. I also love the Onsen side to Nozawa an adventure every night after riding, heaps of free public Onsens.

What time of year where you there?
@tomperry619 жыл бұрын
+JakJackAttack this was filmed in late Feb. but our 2 previous trip were in early to mid March. Each time we had epic conditions. Great snow and the place to ourselves. Very relaxed atmosphere plenty of fresh tracks for everyone.
