Man Sunrise should have continue with this story, I miss My Hime and My Otome, these 2 shows is something I miss in these modern times, there is no show currently airing that have a badass group of sexy female warriors with cool animation, awesome story and characters and this MUSIC.......NO BUBBLEGUM CRISIS, no AIKA, no NAJICA, no IKKI TOUSEN, no TENJO TENGE, and no MY OTOME, we miss those kind of shows T.T.

@@ZeroNashi0Hi, This was my 1st attempt at an AMV and the 2nd one i made about Steinsgate was my last one. I made this 13 years ago for a competition when i was still a student. I have since then started a career and became a father, so i dont have the time and luxary to make AMV's again.

Rena is not even an original Himes, she belong to Alyssa bloodline, think of what a real Hime like Mai or Natsuki from original series can do when they have the Otome gems…..MIND BLOWN

@@thaithanhpham2434 Rena is a descendant of Alyssa but she is also an actual Hime. She really was a perfect storm. Yeah if the HIMEs were focused on keeping things on the download they would be terrifying even without an Otome crystal.

Rena is strange example since as you already said in otome timeline she is true hime(but descended of fake hime who was at end still recognized by system). only known problem or difference between fake and real hime are: alyssa was created not selected, couldn't materialize element and child was under developed. But both of her problems could have been because she was that much younger than other hime and her power didn't fully awaken since she was pre-teen and she wanted parent figure not love. I think in a way rena as otome is stronger than only hime and weaker or on pair compare to hime+child. in otome universe we have no idea how much power can regular hime still use since everything changed. But we known that rena's body is far beyond otome body. Fully trained in combat arts and martial arts genius. Only real unknown is connected to original alyssa bloodline problems: can she fully materialize child, is bow we see in OVA her hime element, is her limit break robe unique to her and artemist. And world questions: does hime element and otome weapon merge/stack, do himes original nanobots/power and otome ones stay base hime, strengthen or weaken. At end of it even if we take worst case for rena she would still be stronger than regular hime, might not beat mai(hime+otome), but for sure she can beat akane.

That's is Arika Yumemiya's mother. She is only seen in the main series in a painting and in flashbacks. In fact It is heavily implied who the parents of various characters are OR we get to see them younger in that. IMHO they could've DBZ'd that series into 10-20 years of episodes. Flashing forward and backward to various points in time to show how things done "now" effect things that happen hundreds of years latter.
