Hi Lindi. I have two close friends living with HIV and a lot of family members. One of my friends was diagnosed when we were 19, so they've been + for 8 years now and I will tell you what I learnt from my friends, the days are not the same at first and even after a while sometimes. One day is all shiny and happy and one day feels like it's gonna end by the middle of it but there more you open up about those feelings and share them with someone who understands and allows you to be at your lowest but helps you up again, then you get better. I hope you have or find someone you can trust that you can have these random it intentional talks with. Don't close yourself in your head for too long.

I never comment on ANY video but this one, I am compelled to comment. I was with a man whom 1. Literally Forced me to sleep with him or else he would break up with me & 2. He was mentally/emotional abusive. A year later in our relationship he broke up with me, out of nowhere. After months of contemplating of getting tested (he did cheat on me in the relationship) I was fearful for my life. The thought of my life changing in seconds made me even nauseous to go forward & get tested. This year 2020 I decided I needed to know, I went to get tested and it came out negative. I promised God I will not sleep with a man anymore until they married me (some married men cheat too, I know) Your story touched me, because I was just there, fearful. Listening to your story was sad to hear but your strength and courage to even share it with the world is beautiful & I admire you for that. Stay blessed.

Red Carded yes I made the mistake by staying in that toxic environment, but nonetheless I learned something from it; to love & value myself first. Thanks for the lesson in your story: If someone delays, makes excuses (i.e they already took and they are safe), declines taking an HIV tests - run for the Hills! Also, I saw another lady here on youtube whose Ex - boyfriend walked around with fake documentation stating he was negative, and infected her. So, the best way to test, is for both individuals to test at the same location, same time, so the documentation must look the same!

I came across your channel this weekend, and I've just fallen in love with you and your husband & your son is adorable. God bless your hubby for being an honourable man, a man after God's heart. We need more men like him in society, and maybe he needs to start teaching men about being honourable and not being irresponsible sexuqlly and also sharing his testimony, I'm sure it will be well received & it will have a huge impact. God bless your family. Watching from the UK ❤

Sure? And why do people giggle when someone opens up.? When i opened up its like hell broke loose, all my friends dissappeared and act as though they're proving a point that they're NOT like me.

@@cclibre3832 thank you,i know their ignorance especially neighbours and i see them from time to time burrying relatives but are quick to say,it was cancer etc but to me i know ,death is death. I've lived with the virus 30 years now and those who had survived earlier motivated me alot to live positively. Many said,Hiv doesn't kill but the perception you attach to it that kills. That there's no incurable disease but incurable people. I noted if the virus and its causes in humans is hidden through silence, its a demon that will find its way to others in the family. I repented to The Most High ELOHIM YHWH on my behalf, on behalf of my late husband and the whole family. So,thank you for your kind words and encouragement.

Hello! While watching your video, i couldn't help but cry. I've just learned that I am an HIV positive. I tested positive with low range of viral load while he's negative in his 2 tests. I've been crying all day and night because I didn't know how and where I got it from. 1 month ago I had a surgery and 3 months prior to my diagnosis, I had rhinoplasty. Up til now, i only suspect that my recent surgery caused my HIV. I never slept with anyone except for my boyfriend. I hope this is another case of false positive. I will fly back to my country to get tested again😭😭
