I know you’re gonna be in the top 5 by the end of the season! You and your son work your asses off! Look at some of the other drivers with 7 man crews and you get er done with way less. Everyone thinks you got it made but, let them try to keep up with you and your families work ethics! Nobody really realizes how much work goes into what you and your family does!

What is the contraption that Jeffrey was using on the track? What does it test?

It's supposed to give you a good idea of what the track can hold . Tire , horsepower and so on . That's just what I got out of it from what I seen in the video. Someone may have more information on it.

Track meter (track surface analyzer), essentially a more refined/technical version of scraping their feet on the track, it measures how much bite/ how tacky the track is giving an inch/pound number so a driver/tuner can adjust how the car is tuned for the conditions, or a track owner/operator can adjust the amount of prep for a particular race series e.g. radial event usually uses a tackier surface than say an average top fuel event.

How in the hell does a track that is that nice and generates so much money dosen't have lights to light up the track there missing out on so many more events to generate so much more money especially radial racing which always races at night.

Why would they waste money on lights ? There is a local ordnance that keeps them from running after dark .. Aka there's a curfew in effect.
